Furnace

Smelting gold into ashes

Fires burn so hot

This seething rage

This violent forge

Give me a dagger

To cut the world and

Spill its hateful blood

Give me a dagger

To make them see me

And know my torment

Give me a dagger

To prove. Give me a.

Give me. Give give heat.

The furnace melts spilling

Molten metal to sear

Holes in a desperate body

Pressure released like a

soft wind through the crisp bones

Of a burned and tattered house

Fiery Love

Have you felt a fiery love? Like the

One that lingers on the tongue after

The words are gone? Or burns in the heart

Of every fighter losing a war?

The body craves it with yearning, a love

that gnashes teeth and sinks them into skin

Feeling the sanguine heat of satisfaction rising

Burning hot with the taste of metal

A love that parts the lips to profess

Letting only ashes tumble out

as the wind blows them away to

Whistle a love song through outstretched hands
